The 3 hour tour was incredible! Captain ensured we saw dolphins and took us to the top of a shipwreck. The kids had a great time snorkeling on Shell Island. No matter what age, it is highly recommended.
Crew and office staff are alerted to any possible storms and will discuss the options. You can cancel your cruise at any moment if you're concerned about inclement Weather, but it's best to do so last-minute. The Island Time management should make the decision. Bad weather cancels trips. If this happens, you have the options to cancel, reschedule and get refunded.

It's composed of graceful sand dune, pine hammocks, as well shrub forest. The inland lake houses shorebirds as well as deer. Dolphins are wild animals that live in their natural habitat. They are not kept in tanks or in netted areas. Polarized sunglasses are recommended to reduce the glare from the water in order to see wild dolphins better. It is rare to see dolphins.

Shell Island has a fascinating amount of local wildlife including dolphins, loggerhead turtles, green sea turtles, ghost crabs, beach mice, nine-banded armadillos, alligators that live in the lake on the island, marsh rabbits, racoons and more.
Shell Island is a nature preserve with no restrooms or any other visitor facilities such as trash receptacles, picnic tables, or shade pavilions. There is no trash removal service. Island visitors are asked to be responsible and take everything they bring to the Island with them when they leave.
Shell Island is seven miles of undeveloped scenery between the Gulf and St. Andrew Bay. At one point, Shell Island was inhabited by Native Americans, Spanish Settlers, and even pirates.
